Visiting Us —

  • Yes, we encourage it! However, we are a private grounds not open to public access. To come and enjoy the winery, wine garden, and 30 acres, you will need to purchase a Grounds Pass when you arrive or online. This comes with a complimentary wine tasting and gives you access to the grounds for the entire day.

  • We have our Meat & Three restaurant inside the visitor’s center open daily from 11-3 PM. In addition, inside our Tasting Room we have various meats, cheese, and packaged charcuterie options available for purchase.

  • Yes! Belle Meade Historic Site and Winery is a place for anyone of all ages. While children and minors are not permitted in our Wine & Food Pairings or Bourbon Experiences, we offer great activities for kids and also family packages.

  • We encourage you to make reservations for any of our ticketed events, prior to your arrival on property. This is the best way to insure that you will be able to partake in the experiences that sound the most interesting to you. If you arrive to visit us, without reservations, you will always have the option to purchase a Grounds Pass that allows you to roam our property, do a brief introductory tasting of our wines and make yourself at home between the hours or 9:30 and 5:00. Ticketed Experiences may still be available to book upon your arrival but this is not guaranteed. Reservations are suggested for all ticketed experiences.

  • Yes! With a grounds pass or any tour ticket, you will receive a complimentary wine tasting. This is a brief introductory sampling of four of our best selling wines. If you are interested in other options, view our tasting options here.

  • While there is no additional charge to enjoy the music, you will need to purchase a grounds pass or tour ticket to have access to the property. Live music plays from April-November!

General Questions —

  • You can purchase our wine in person or online through our website. We are not in distribution, so you cannot purchase our wine in liquor stores.

  • Yes, we ship to over 40 states and counting. Please visit our shipping page to see if your state qualifies and for more information.

  • The Belle Meade Winery website and Historic Site website are the only places to purchase credible tickets. Tickets from third-party websites are not honored. For tasting reservations, click here.

  • We are frequently hiring for tasting associates and restaurant staff. Visit our careers page for more information.

Can we bring?

  • Outside food and beverage is not permitted on the grounds.

  • We welcome photos outside the mansion for personal use only.

  • Yes! We love to see your furry friends. However, they are only permitted outside and cannot enter the tasting room, the mansion, wine and food pairings, or the bourbon experience.

Inherent risks of activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this activity.

UNDER AGE DRINKING: It is illegal for anyone under 21 years of age to purchase and/or consume our wines – regardless of “parental permission”. We require all of our guests to show a valid proof of age when purchasing our wines or consuming our wines on our property.
